DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400°F. Pierce bottom of crust with a fork. Line the pie shell with parch- ment paper. Pour dried rice or beans onto the parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove shell from the oven. Carefully remove parchment paper and hot rice or beans from the shell. Place shell back into the oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely and add desired filling.
