Chocolate Pastry Squares

These gluten-free chocolate pastry squares are the perfect simple, and sweet treat this Valentine's day; or any occasion!


  • 1 sheet of GeeFree puff pastry dough

  • 2 tablespoons sweetened cocoa (Alternatively, 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa + 2 tablespoons of sugar)

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

  • Chocolate chips

  • Powdered sugar


  • Preheat oven to 375°.

  • Fold or kneed 2 tablespoons of cocoa into the dough.

  • Roll dough out thin.

  • Cut into squares.

  • Wash with butter.

  • Sprinkle with Chocolate Chips.

  • Bake 8-10 minutes, or until crisp.

  • Allow to cool.

  • Top with powdered sugar & drizzle with chocolate.
